Respite Services
Respite Centre at Corinda, Brisbane
Clients of our Respite facility in Corinda may be referred to us by their own family, a health professional, a medical practitioner, or the general public. Proposed clients are then individually assessed to ensure that a quality service tailored to their specific needs can be provided, and to ensure compatibility of children in residence over a given respite period.
The costs for our out-of-home respite are determined by the individual’s needs, the duration of respite provided and any other considerations at the time of care.
In-home Respite Services
In-home respite is the provision of support to families and clients in their own home. An individual assessment of client needs ensures that an in-home respite service meets the requirements of the family and child concerned. More about in-home Respite
Out-of-home Respite Services
The out-of-home respite service is based at our Corinda facility. The objective of the service is to provide an overnight respite for children and young adults with physical disabilities, which is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for both the client and their family.
